I wanted a way to be able to bike around my three kids by myself so that we could go on fun bike adventures and bike commutes even when my husband was unable to join. We biked through the winter last year and it saved my mental health when seasonal depression threatened to kick in. It has opened our eyes to so many different parks and experiences that we would miss if we were in a car. I love the freedom it offers and the fact that an 8 mile bike ride is easy and not daunting at all with the pedal assist. I love cruising past cars in traffic, being a part of nature, getting to park right by the doors to stores and never worrying about parking downtown. The only real complaint I have is that we do have lots of bumpy routes we travel and I wish there was better suspension for that. However my kids don’t seem too bothered as long as I warn them of big bumps.
