We were sick of sitting in traffic. Decided to become a cargo bike family! We rode our first trike during a family trip to Copenhagen, and when we got back signed up to borrow a Bunch from the ebike lending library (Community Pedal Power) and fell in love. Within a week we decided to purchase (decision made easier by the back to school sale!) We use our Bunch primarily for school/daycare dropoffs followed by parent commutes, but we have also done grocery runs, beach trips, and birthday party supply deliveries (you can fit so many pizzas in this baby!) I love that the kids can easily eat snacks, read books, etc without having to worry about holding on or balancing themselves - and I don't have to find my balance at a stop light or keep us from toppling as we get going again, which means I can focus on other things like the cars around me.
