Completely replaced the car drop offs at school! Has been a long time dream to have a "bakfiets" since we lived in Europe. Love the ease of use and lots of compliments - the bike is a convo starter! I love that it is enabling people like me to be proactive about sustainability while giving good exercise and allowing our kids to have better spacial awareness of our neighborhood. What people don't realize about being stuck in a car is that social connections are worn down - it is much easier to say hello to a neighbor from a bike.
