I have wanted a front-loading cargo bike for years! When we settled into our new home in California, I decided the Bunch Bike was the perfect one for us! We live on a bike boulevard in Palo Alto (woohoo, bike infrastructure!) and use the bike to take my three daughters to school every day, parks, grocery shopping, church, the movie theater, hiking, etc. We have put almost 1,000 miles on the bike in our first five months! We rarely drive the family car and my daughters have a strong preference for the bike. I love being able to use active transportation and feel like I am a member of our community while traveling! It is easy to stop and chat with friends we run into, talk to my kids and reach things they need, grab the errant stuffed animal that gets thrown out by my toddler, and enjoy being outside and together. I love how stable the trike style is and so I feel no stress when I need to hop off the bike and it is easy for my older daughter to get in and out herself. The ride can sometimes be bumpy — the padded seats are helpful for that.
